Andrew Farkas: Thousands of Emails & A Caribbean Yacht Harbor Deal
Andrew Farkas, chairman and CEO of Island Capital Group, exchanged thousands of emails with Epstein. In one 2010 message, Farkas told the financier "You are one of the blessings in my life and I cherish our friendship." The two also partnered to purchase a yacht harbor in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands — a deal that likely provided Epstein with tax advantages. A 2008 email from Epstein to Farkas read "great seeing you" and "sorry it was such a schlep" — sent during Epstein's jail sentence at the Palm Beach County Stockade, where he was controversially granted work-release privileges. Farkas stated he "deeply regret[s] ever having met this individual" and that he never visited Epstein in prison.
