Casey Wasserman, chair of the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee, faces mounting pressure to resign after emails revealed a close relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell. In a 2003 email, Wasserman told Maxwell "I think of you all the time" and asked "what do I have to do to see you in a tight leather outfit?" At least five LA City Council members and one state senator have called for his removal from the LA28 board.
