Peter Thiel: Epstein Supported Gawker Lawsuit
After it was reported that PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel was financing Hulk Hogan's lawsuit against Gawker, Epstein wrote to Thiel that he would have "gladly share[d] your expenses for the Gawker suit." Thiel responded with only a smiley face. The lawsuit ultimately bankrupted the media company. Thiel has denied wrongdoing and any visits to Epstein's island.
